The Ninth APT Standardization Program Forum (ASTAP-9) was held from 29 March to 1 April 2005 at the Imperial Queen’s Park Hotel, Bangkok, Thailand.

The main objective of the forum was to review the progress of the ASTAP Expert Groups since the eighth ASTAP Forum held in Hyderabad, India and to have discussion on new topics or proposals for expert groups that need to be handled by ASTAP in order to establish regional cooperation on standardization.
